The brand value of IPL increases rapidly , in 2014 brand value of IPL is $3.2 billion, in 2015 is $3.5 billion, in 2016 is $4.2 billion, in 2017 is $ 5.3 billion, in 2018 is $6.3 billion and in 2019 the brand value of IPL is $6.7 billion. If we compare brand value of IPL in 2014 and in 2019 amount is getting more than double.

The first auction was conducted on 20 February 2008  Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Andrew Symonds winning the highest bid of $1.5 million


 


2   2. In 2009 Andrew Flintoff and Kevin Pitersen

     He was bought by the Chennai Super Kings for $1.55 million and Kevin Pitersen was bought by Royal Challengers Banglore.



     3. In 2010 Kieron Pollard and Shane Bond

Pollard was bought by Mumbai Indians and Shane Bond was bought by  Kolkata Knight Riders for $750,000

Gautam Gambhir was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for $2.4 million. Gambhir sets a new record for highest bid in IPL In 2011
